The whole beans arrived fresh, with a distinct roasted smell. The expiration date is July 23rd 2027

I used my 3-in-1 coffee machine to try this coffee , which will grind these beans for my desired time and then make me a cup of coffee in which I can select the amount of water to use. I used a heaping two tablespoon scoop of whole beans with 6 oz of water and had it grind the beans for about 18 seconds. Normally when I have medium dark roasted coffee or especially dark roasted coffee, it has a harsh flavor to me, so I always want to add the milk. I still added about 2 Oz. of 1 percent milk to this coffee but I tried it first before doing so and this coffee was noticeably smoother than others I've tried.

It had an earthy flavor to it, with very little bitterness. The flavor notes are very accurate. I can taste the hints of Walnut and caramel even after adding the milk to this.

I purposely ate some protein before having this and just having that 6 oz cup, I can feel the caffeine from this. It is noticeably stronger than some of the other coffee I normally drink.

I am very happy with this and appreciate the opportunity to try this out.

I've had several varieties of coffee from Blu Ore and they are all excellent. But this might be my favorite so far.

The beans are dark and oily, a sign of quality beans roasted properly. The flavor is a bit hard to describe. There isn't one thing that stands out, but it is exceptionally smooth. A cup of this disappears very quickly.

The roast is about as dark as it can get without starting to burn the oils in the beans. So you get the strong flavor of a dark roast with none of the acrid or unpleasant notes that come with a darker bean. There is very little acid but the flavor is still bright and assertive.

Describing a flavor is difficult. But if you are willing to trust a random guy on the internet, but this coffee. It is outstanding.

We love coffee and like to try new ones though we regularly have coffee delivered from a local roaster. This Blu Ore Black Diamond Robusta Specialty Coffee is a whole bean coffee sold in a 12 oz bag. It’s definitely premium priced at over $28/lb, but I’m finding everything expensive these days.

This coffee is called a medium dark roast, but for me it has the full bodied flavor of a dark roast. I find it strong and smooth with a bit of the bitterness that you expect from coffee but not that Starbucks bitterness. For me, the primary takeaway is a smoothness. I’m not sure I taste walnut, peanut, caramel, brown sugar notes but I really like this coffee and I think I might like it more than the coffee we are ordering regularly.

I am picky about dark roast coffee and I found I really enjoyed this one. It's a medium dark with low acidity and dark somewhat oily looking beans that have a rich aroma. These beans are high quality and have the signature sweetness I expect from Vietnamese coffee. The flavors are nutty, with caramel qualities, a rich smooth body, and a clean aftertaste. I like to make 2 tablespoons in my single serving press and add 2/3's of a cup of milk frothed hot to give it a creamy flavor. I really enjoy this coffee and would recommend it to fans of medium, dark, and Vietnamese coffees.

I love Blu ore coffee beans. Treat yourself to some really high end coffee. They always have hints of great flavors. I can smell it before I get out of bed when my coffee maker turns on. Love it!
